We drove in this NP with Maxi secreted away in the motor home. Common sense has to prevail in that dogs kept firmly inside a vehicle should be allowed in while the owners are able to briefly enjoy the beauty a NP offers.
The view of Salmon Beach from the lookout.
A view from the cliff top walk along the top of the rugged limestone cliffs that tower above the Southern Ocean.
These small dark kangaroos seem quite fearless and appear close up to humans.
Yet another natural limestone bridge that forms a window offering a spectacular and unique perspective of the ocean below. Shaped over millions of years, some say it is reminiscent of a set of dinosaur teeth.
The view towards Windy Harbour which is a small settlement situated on crown reserve, surrounded by D'Entrecasteaux NP. Fishing has always been a major part of life at Windy Harbour and one of the principal reasons for its establishment. It remains popular with the fishing fraternity.
Two extremely phallic stone piles.
Can't resist showing these new photos of yet more wild flowers. Each region we go to we find a new type of flower to add to our growing collection.
A view of Mt Chudalup from the road. Rising sharply from the surrounding forest, Mt Chudalup is a huge granite rock outcrop 187m above sea level.
The 1.5 summit walk trail offers stunning 360 degree views over the NP and the coast.
