Dunsborough and environs

We first drove through the town and out to Cape Naturiste.

A panoramic shot of Bunker Bay.

Sugarloaf Rock.

Sugarloaf Bay.

Castle Rock at the next bay along the cape.

Bridge at Busselton/Dunsborough Bridge Club.  They play here only once a week at the Community Centre - 15 tables, 20 tables in the summer months when people from Perth come down.  The other game is at Busselton which is only 25 kms away.  It is interesting how standards of precaution in regards to Covid differ from club to club.  Bunsbury was very strict with the kitchen being closed and people needing to carry their bidding boxes around when they are East/West.  Here in Dunsborough they did not worry about that.

After bridge, we spent the night at Rosina and Richard's property of 5 acres about 5kms out of town.

We are very grateful for their kind hospitality.  Not only did they allow us to park Winnie in the paddock but they also invited us for dinner.  We had a very lovely evening with them.  Andrew gave Richard a hand with fencing his vines to protect them from kangaroos.

The view from the terrace was just lovely.

Yallingup Beach - a famous WA surfing beach.

These hardy swimmers were out there at 6:30am with the temperature 13 degrees.  Western Australians are a hardy lot!
