Travel along the Coral Coast

We stopped at an extremely congenial rest stop at the Minilya River.  It was a balmy evening with not a whiff of wind, unusual for WA, and everyone was out chatting to everyone else.  We had a guessing competition as to how many vehicles would turn up for the night.  The end result was 32 vehicles.

Captured this shot of a lovely sunset above the vehicles.

The next morning we drove to Coral Bay where we spent a coupleof hours and quickly departed.  School holidays have started and the bay was chockablock full.

The vista of the bay.

One of the numerous crowded caravan parks.  We spoke to a couple from Perth there with their two children and they told us they had to book two years ahead to get in so they were delighted beyond belief that restrictions on travel have been lifted so they could enjoy their long awaited holiday.

A line of more up market villas for the more opulent holiday makers.
