Mirima National Park

This park is one of WA's best kept secrets.  It is located just minutes out of Kununurra on the edge of the Hidden Valley Caravan Park from where one can wander into the park.  It was declared a NP in 1982.  It is small park with sandstone ridges, cliffs and valleys, similar in appearance to the Bungle Bungle Range and is sometimes referred to as the "Mini Bungles" due to the similiarity between the tiger striped outcrops found here and at Purnululu NP.

The sandstone is 350m years old and subject to some striking colour changes due to the sunlight variations during the day. The region is is known for its spectacular photo opportunities.
